The Vet Visit Record
Know when your dog or cat is due and bring numbers, not impressions: the senior stage by size, a check-up calendar with dates, a baseline sheet, a dated change log and a plan for fifteen minutes in the consulting room
VetYoga's Pet Age Calculator turns a dog's or cat's age into human years and a life stage, and now says when it turns senior by size (AVMA bands for dogs, AAHA/AAFP for cats). Nothing on the site turns that into a check-up calendar, and the site's own appointment guide asks owners to bring weights, measured changes and dates that no tool helps them keep. The pack does both. It works your pet's senior birthday, then the next check-ups with one test (six months on; if not senior by then, twelve), prices the year from your own clinic's fee, and keeps the record a vet can use. Worked example: a large dog born May 10, 2021 and last seen Aug 20, 2026 turns senior May 10, 2027, is next seen Aug 20, 2027, then every six months: five check-ups in three years. A change first noticed Mar 2, 2027 would wait 171 days for that calendar, so the pack says call. It is not veterinary advice: it sets no feeding, calorie, water or weight targets, says nothing about medicines or vaccinations, and diagnoses nothing; anything sudden, painful, or getting worse is a call to your vet. Every pet, date and fee is an example. Included: 7 steps, a pet profile and visit calendar, a baseline sheet, a change log, appointment cards, a reference table and a quickstart, plus a personalised sheet worked from your own pet's figures in our calculators.

What is in it
- Step 1: find the senior stage by size: when a small, medium, large or giant dog or a cat turns senior, and the birthday to write down
- Step 2: set the visit rhythm: one check-up a year for an adult, every six months once senior, worked into dates
- Step 3: book the year, and price it: the check-up line from your own clinic's fee, a year and a month
- Step 4: take baselines while all is well: one scale, a week of activity against our Exercise Planner, a three-day water measure
- Step 5: log every change with a date, and the changes that are a call, not a log entry
- Step 6: plan the fifteen minutes: concerns in order, counted, and when to ask for a longer slot
- Step 7: leave with a call-back line: what should make you call, by when, and the next visit booked
- Working pages: a pet profile and visit calendar, a baseline sheet, a change log and appointment cards
- Reference table: senior age, human years between visits and the planner's minutes for a cat and four dog sizes
- A quickstart, the calendar arithmetic on one card, and a personalised sheet worked from your own pet
- ✓ 24 printable pages
- ✓ 10 sections, worksheets and templates

The pack picks up where the free Pet Age Calculatorleaves off. That tool tells you your dog's or cat's life stage, and when it turns senior by size; the pack turns that into a check-up calendar with dates, a visit line priced from your own clinic's fee, and a record to bring: weights on the same scale, activity against the Exercise Planner's figure, and every change with the date you first noticed it. It is not veterinary advice: it sets no feeding, weight or water targets, says nothing about medicines or vaccinations, and diagnoses nothing. Anything sudden, painful, or getting worse is a call to your vet, not an entry in a log. Every pet, date and fee in it is an example for you to replace with your own.
