Introduction

Welcome to VetYoga (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at vetyoga.com and its calculators, articles, and other content (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

What VetYoga Is

VetYoga provides free, browser-based calculators for everyday pet wellness — estimating a pet’s age in human years, daily calorie needs, food portions, ideal weight and body condition, water intake, and exercise — plus guides and a reference museum. The tools are educational aids for pet owners.

Educational Tools, Not Veterinary Advice

This is the single most important point. The calculators apply common, transparent conventions to the figures you enter. They can suggest a starting point for feeding, weight, hydration, or activity; they cannot examine your animal, diagnose a condition, or replace a veterinarian. Accordingly:

• A calculated figure is a general guide, not a prescription. Every pet is an individual with its own breed, metabolism, and health.
• Calorie, portion, weight, water, and exercise results are only as good as the inputs and assumptions you provide.
• Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or advice about medication, illness, or a therapeutic diet.

For anything involving your pet’s health — illness, injury, medication, a special diet, or a weight-change plan — consult a qualified veterinarian. Use your own judgment and, when in doubt, call your vet.

Acceptable Use

In using the Service, you agree not to:

• Use it for any unlawful purpose or to produce unlawful content;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the site;
• Scrape or automate access in a way that degrades it for others;
• Infringe our intellectual property or that of anyone else.

Intellectual Property

The site’s design, calculator code, and original writing belong to VetYoga. Museum and learn entries are drawn from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons and remain under their respective public-domain or Creative Commons licences. The output of the tools is yours — your pet’s figures are your own to use however you like.

No Warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the tools are error-free, that an estimate fits your specific pet, or that the site will always be available.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VetYoga will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including harm to an animal’s health, veterinary costs, or other losses — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or its estimates. The tools inform decisions; they do not make them for you, and they never replace a veterinarian.

Third-Party Links & Ads

The Service carries advertising and may link to third-party sites and products. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third parties, and a link or ad is not an endorsement.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes are reflected in the date below.
